After over 40 years, the General Jackson Showboat is shutting down operations for good.
There’s been a lot of maintenance needed for the boat, which has impacted their schedule so the Opry Entertainment Group decided to retire it. They had an issue right before the 4th of July and had to cancel that fireworks cruise and since then they’ve just had a steady flow of issues come up.
Their last day of operation will be December 15th.
