A new sports program could be coming to Sumner County Schools.
The school board is looking into adding lacrosse for high schoolers, the only concern is having enough students who want to play to fill out the teams. They’re discussing all the options, even co-op teams where multiple schools could combine to form one team.
There’s also a possibility that there will be “feeder programs” offered for elementary and middle schoolers to prepare them for the high school level. Very exciting for any kids who’ve shown interest in lacrosse.
