New parking is coming to Cheekwood Estate and Gardens, but until then, parking will stay as usual.. for now, at least!
Yesterday, Metro Parks came to an agreement with Cheekwood to continue to allow parking on their land outside of the main gate. The land is actually owned by Metro Parks, but they’ve made agreements since 1981 which allowed visitors to park there.
The agreement was extended, but only through 2027 when Cheekwood believes they’ll be done constructing their new parking lot. Before the lot can be built, they have $25 million dollars to raise!
