JACK is taking the day off and handing the keys over to Alana, this year’s JACK’s Day Off winner! In honor of 96.3 Alana-fm taking Nashville airwaves by storm, let’s learn a little more about the gal behind the mic.
About Alana
During the week, Alana is a multimedia journalism student at Trevecca Nazarene University, where writes for the AP-award winning publication Trevechoes and hosts student-led video series Talkin’ Trevecca. On weekends, she is host/producer of television show Perspectives with Alana McLaughlin (FOX Nashville, CW Nashville, MY30 Nashville) and podcast “The Alana McLaughlin Show” (Spotify). Alana is a 2025 nominee for two Southern Entertainment Awards: “Personality of the Year” and “Series of the Year”.
Three albums Alana can’t live without are: Toulouse Street by the Doobie Brothers, Rumors by Fleetwood Mac and Fly Like an Eagle by Steve Miller Band. Her favorite decade of music is the 70s, and if JACK took requests, she would request “Layla” by Derek and the Dominoes!
