Unfortunately, it seems like our favorite parking garages downtown will never reopen.
The Nashville Public Library garage downtown was expected to have a partial reopening after that fire over a year ago closed it down. Unfortunately, the timeline is getting pushed back on that now as NDOT continues to take bids for the stabilization work.. they just haven’t found contractors that they feel are qualified enough for the job.
In the meantime, the McKendree Garage is still open with reduced rates for library-goers and they’ve extended the parking window from 90 to 120 minutes there.
