Down in Murfreesboro, officials are set to unearth part of Town Creek.
It’s been 70 years since engineers redirected the creek to flow underground through pipes and culverts. But this Fall, that all changes and they’ll bring the creek back to the surface for residents to enjoy. They’re hoping to eventually add walk and bike trails and pedestrian seating.
