These are some freaky looking worms and they’re popping up all around Middle TN.
The toxic hammerhead worms prey on earthworms and are flat, with half-moon heads. Experts say that it’s important to remove them from the ground, however don’t touch them with your bare hands or it could cause some skin irritation. Also, don’t cut them because they can regenerate like regular worms.
You can put them in a container, cover them with salt, rubbing alcohol or oil and vinegar.. yum. Wait how did this turn into a page from “How to Eat Fried Worms?”
