If you’re in Cheatham County, you can take this item off of your back-to-school list already, because it’s now banned.
Zipper binders or “trapper-keepers” are now banned at Cheatham Co Middle and High Schools.. and for good reason. Apparently they can interfere with the weapons detection system at the school, which causes slower entries and delays. They’d like students to use standard binders without zippers, folders and notebooks instead.
