After this weekend, you won’t be able to see this again for over 2 years.
A rare, blue micro-moon will be rising over Nashville this weekend. It’s called a micro-moon because the moon is near the farthest point away from Earth in its orbit. It’s called a blue moon because it’s rare that a 2nd full moon happens in the same month and we had the Flower Moon on May 1st.
We’ll have the best chance to see it on Saturday night around 8pm.
