The record has been shattered!
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency announced yesterday that the state record for largemouth bass has been broken after more than 11 years. Now, the record belongs to Darren Nunley who caught a 15lb 7 1/2 ounce, almost 28 in-long bass in the Nickajack Reservoir.
This beats the 15lb 3 ounce bass that was caught back in 2015. That one, by the way broke a 60 year record.
Check it out and hear how he caught it HERE
Also, I love that he brought it to the grocery store to weigh it.
